New-Build High-Efficiency HVAC

Building HVAC into a custom home from the ground up meant we could design for performance instead of retrofitting around someone else's decisions, working directly from the architect's plans before the drywall ever went up. We spec'd a variable-speed system sized to the home's exact envelope using a full Manual-J and Manual-D calculation rather than a rule-of-thumb estimate, added an energy recovery ventilator so the tightly-sealed house still gets a constant supply of fresh air without losing conditioned energy, and zoned the whole home across four dampers for room-by-room control. Coordinating with the framing and electrical crews let us route ductwork through the most efficient paths instead of working around finished walls, which meant shorter runs, fewer bends, and better airflow to every room. The result is a house built net-zero-ready from day one, with the entire system designed, installed, and commissioned in five days alongside the rest of the build, and energy modeling showing utility costs a fraction of a comparable existing home in the same neighborhood.
