Downtown Retail Rooftop Replacement

Three original rooftop units were on their last legs above a downtown retail space that couldn't afford a single closed day - each one was already past its expected service life and starting to short-cycle during the afternoon rush. A daytime shutdown was never on the table, so we built a crane-set schedule around the store's overnight hours instead, closing the street to traffic for a few hours at a time rather than closing the store for even one. We fabricated custom curb adapters so the new units sat flush on the existing roof penetrations without any structural rework, and integrated everything with the building's management system for remote monitoring going forward. All three replacements, from crane lift to final commissioning, were completed across three overnight shifts with the doors open for business every morning, and the store hasn't logged a single comfort complaint since.
